Bangkok Corporate Travel Tips

How to get there

To help you to getting the right direction, here is the introduction of Bangkok’s airport. There are totally four levels within the airport – level one has some ground transportation while level two is the arrival area. Meeting centre and other facilities you might need to use are in level three and level four is the departure level. Taxis can be found on level one and the public transportation centre. Alternatively, you could take a bus to the city from the Public Transportation Centre. The estimated cost is around 35 baht which is $1.15 U.S.

Getting around

To travel around this beautiful yet hot climate city, walking may not be a right way to choose. It is better for you to take a taxi, motorized rickshaws (called tuk-tuks), ferries or buses for getting around Bangkok.

1. Taxi:

Maybe the most convenient and comfortable transportation but keep in mind that traffic can sometimes be slow.

2. Tuk-tuks:

Tuk-tuks might be a better option than Taxi since it weaves in and out of traffic which means it often goes faster than a taxi. In addition, the fare is negotiable and usually cheaper than taxi expense.

3. Ferries:

Ferries are another inexpensive and quick way to get around. You could enjoy fantastic views when they go up and down the Chao Phraya River.

4. Buses:

Buses fare is normally cheaper than Taxi expense however it may not be as flexible as the other transportation tools.

2. Other sights not to be missed include the Wat Pho temple, the largest temple in Bangkok famous for its gold-plated reclining Buddha statue as well as its beautiful landscaped garden.

3. Enjoy the scene on the riverside by taking a water taxi or ferry on the Chao Phraya River and buy wonderful goods with bargain prices.

 
Dining out

Sale Rim Naam: With classical Thai dancers perform at every table and its traditional Thai food, Sala Rim Naam is a famous Thai restaurant located on the west bank of the Chao Phraya River.

Hazara: Surrounding by lush vegetation and serves northern Indian cuisine, Hazara is another popular Thai restaurant which requires reservations.
